Aegon launches RDR support centre

Aegon has launched an online support centre to help advisers prepare for the retail distribution review.
The centre is available to all advisers and offers practical planning and guidance on developing an RDR-ready IFA business.
It provides support on the latest RDR developments, expert analysis of the RDR proposals and how they impact advisers, and a comprehensive question and answer section covering all aspects of the RDR.
Advisers can also access some RDR-related adviser and consumer research findings and links to other sources of useful information.
Aegon is now planning to introduce an online polling facility to the site in a bid to gauge adviser opinion on key topics.
Aegon UK sales director Duncan Jarrett says: “Many advisers will find the post-RDR world is very different to the way they operate today and they will need help, information and support to make that transition. The timetable to implementation will be tight but should be achievable for advisers with the right help and support.”
