2plan launches mobile version of Nexus portal
2plan Wealth Management has launched a mobile version of its adviser portal Nexus.
The m-commerce service gives advisers with mobile phones, smartphones and PDAs on-demand access to Nexus functionality, including commission payments, case checking reports and flagged policies. Users can also access policy information and notes and provider contact details.
The Nexus mobile system has been tested on handsets, including the iPhone and BlackBerry.
Each adviser’s dashboard preferences are also replicated on the mobile site, ensuring consistent choice of modules.
Chief executive Chris Smallwood says: “Giving advisers the ability to get client policy information and check reports on the move ensures that clients get rapid access to key data.”
The Investment Quorum chief executive Lee Robertson says: “This is an excellent move. On-demand solutions using technology will become ever more important so it is good to see this type of thing being rolled out.”
