What we expected in connection with capital gains tax (CGT) was a linking to income tax with the possible reintroduction of a form of taper relief and/or indexation allowance to ameliorate the higher rate for longer term ’non- speculating’ investors……………. FSA CONFIRMS LIST OF RDR ADVISER QUALIFICATIONS

NEXT YEAR’S TAX AND NIC BANDS

SYNOPSIS:  The Budget may not have spelt out the numbers, but most of next year’s tax and NIC figures can be estimated

One of the more frustrating aspects of the June 2010 Budget was that various announcements were made about 2011/12 income tax and NIC bands, but the only hard figure given for the next tax year was the increased personal allowance - £7,475 instead of the current £6,475………………… (continued on the Techlink website)
