PFS Tomorrow’s Client Conference – Looking forward to 2015 and beyond
Predicting the future is always a difficult thing to do in any profession but with such major regulatory, demographic and technological change within the financial services sector it is even more challenging. However the PFS Tomorrow’s Client Conference on the 28th September 2011 in London did just that with exclusive research prepared for the conference.
The conference was designed to get the attendees to consider the world beyond the Retail Distribution Review and brought together advisers, business owners, and industry experts. Speakers included: Jo Hind, Google; Holly MacKay, Platforum; Adele Gritten, YouGov; Barry Clarke, Future Foundation; Stephen Gay, AIFA; Fay Goddard, PFS; Tony Wickenden, Technical Connection; Phil Wickenden, So Here’s the Plan, and Tim Dieppe, Henderson Global Investors.
It was a day of fascinating facts highlighting how the world is changing. Julie Hepworth, Perspective Financial Group said that it was a “very innovative day - it was refreshing to attend an event that focuses on life post RDR” and Danny Cox, Hargreaves Lansdown said it was “food for thought but with practical solutions”.
