Practice Exams

The three top tips for exam preparation?  “Past papers, past papers, past papers.” 

Advisers at a recent Money Marketing Academy training course were asked: “What helped you pass your exams?”  Their response: take a past paper first, before you even open the study book.  That way you’ll understand what is required for the exam, self-test your knowledge and inform your revision plan.  Practice on calculations in particular is very valuable because the same sorts of questions come up again and again and it’s a good way to pick up some points.  Get your exam date booked before you start your revision so that you’ve got an end point to work towards.

If you’re sitting one of the following exams, here is where you can find mock questions and practice papers to test your knowledge and readiness for the big day.

1. CII

If you have bought a study book for your CII exam, you’ll have access to RevisionMate http://www.revisionmate.com  where you’ll find the CII’s online exam simulator, exam guides, mock questions and a study planner.

Questions packs are available to purchase from the CII, priced at £23 for members and £25 for non-members.  Each pack consists of 3 mock exams (comprising a total of 300 questions) providing exam practice to test knowledge and develop technique.

Candidates for the Advanced Diploma can view exam guides for AF1-4, including model answers: AF1 (Oct 2010), AF2 (Oct 2010), AF3 (Oct 2010), AF4 (Oct 2010).

 

2. IFP
