2. Career development for those in a non-advice role
Institute of Leadership & Management Diploma

The Money Marketing Academy has partnered with Ingenuity (Scotland) Ltd, an approved centre of the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM), to offer professional business qualifications for members of the financial services sector who are in non-advice roles but want to study for professional qualifications.
ILM qualifications, such as a Diploma in Management or a Diploma in Leadership & Management, are relevant for any individual who is in a business management position or has aspirations of becoming a manager within (or of) a business. The qualifications are recognised on the national QCF and are flexible in their study methods and assessment methods.
The ILM Level 5 Diploma in Management aims to give practising and aspiring business managers the widest choice for their formal development in this role, developing a wide range of management skills. Assessment is through a variety of flexible work-based assessments such as projects, case studies, presentations and reflective reviews.
The ILM Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management has been specially designed to give practising managers formal development in this role, building up a wide range of management skills and gaining the comprehensive leadership and management knowledge required at this level.
Participants take four mandatory units aimed at developing a range of leadership and management skills, then select from a choice of optional units to build up a comprehensive range of skills tailored to their needs.
Each diploma is structured as a two year programme. Ingenuity will discuss the options with each individual candidate to ensure they get the selection of units to suit their requirements.
Face-to-face training sessions will take place in regional venues, beginning in early 2012.
The price to study for a diploma with the ILM, and Ingenuity’s training programme, is £1,850+VAT. Money Marketing Academy members benefit from a 10% discount.
